Captain’s Meeting is open to all Captain’s Co-Captain’s current and future (if you are thinking of putting in a new team for 2016 let us know) All animals are welcome to come and enjoy the after party starting around 9ish, Valentines Dance, there will be a midnight buffet for all our Animal Family as well. Plenty of floor space for friends to stay the night (bring an air mattress), DON’T DRINK & DRIVE! We do need to know who is coming so MAKE SURE YOU RSVP to Tara, Tyler or West!!!

Q – How much for this?
A- 0, Zip, Nada. No cost. Just come and have fun and bring a friend. Everyone must RSVP!
Q – bottles or cans?
A – CANS OF BEER ONLY. MIXED DRINKS IN SOLO CUPS OR some kind of plastic PLEASE. GLASS CAN BE KEPT AT THE BAR OR IN YOUR COOLER.
Q – is there a bar that I can buy booze at?
A – It is strictly BYOB, there’s a BAR you can mix your drinks at and Dance on. feel free to bring a blender too
Q – Overnight parking?
A – Yes, there’s public parking for about 50 cars
Q – Can I bring a date?

2015 was a great year! Great competition, awesome friends and the weather held out for us! 30 years! Congratulation to the PIE EYED PLATYPI on winning the 2015 Championship and taking home the Animal Cup for the year. All the teams really did a great job too as it was not a complete blowout, points were close and the competition was fierce! Looking forward to 2016! Now is the time if you are interested in joining a team talk to an Animal Olympian for the details, we would love to have even more teams next year and make the competition even more challenging! This is a little description of what the Annual Animal Olympics is! – The Animal Olympics is a social gathering of friends from far and wide, across this great country we call home to participate in a celebration of friendship and competition. Since 1985 it is a Canadian tradition on the Victoria Holiday weekend (aka May Long, May Two-Four) to get together with our friends and go camping and prove who are the BEST PARTY ANIMALS! I hope you can join us. We are always open to having new teams join us if you are looking for some great people and some good times send us an email in the CONTACT US page! The Animal Olympic Games was founded in 1985. Every Victoria Day long weekend friends assemble for a weekend of Camping, Competition and Comraderie. The winning team gets immortalized on the Animal Cup. We hope to bring people together in the spirit of fun and friendship for another 30 years! For the first 23 years the Animal Olympics was held at a small campground in Port Burwell Ontario called Country Camping. That campground was closed when the property was sold in 2009. The next two years the Animal Olympics took place at the King-Hamilton family farm and is currently held at a small private campground near the town of Durham.
